Art rescue

Rescuing collection art from a dying gateway, and the 429 that masks a 404.

Two collections' art was stranded: public IPFS gateways timing out with no providers, on Arweave a genuine loss rather than a cache miss.

Re-pin and archive full-resolution masters across staggered egress paths, compress to WebP at quality 100, re-host, vision-audit the metadata before mint.

The load-bearing finding: a throttled host returns 429, masking whether the object is alive, so dead versus alive is never concluded from a throttled address. Recovery ran through a fresh-address bridge with a remote fetcher.

6,202 of 6,202 on Arweave, art recovered at about 93.5% full resolution, 132 of 132 dead assets repaired. 3,180 of 3,180 masters byte-identical.

On a third collection, 119 of 457 legacy metadata files confirmed permanently gone, names and traits recovered for all 457.
